Senior Change Manager – Procurement Transformation
Melbourne CBD | 3-6 Month Contract | Immediate Start
VPS6 equivalent.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Change Manager
to lead the change strategy and delivery for a large-scale Procurement Transformation Program
within a government organisation. This program will enable efficient, compliant, and strategic sourcing and contract management, while driving greater value from data-driven decisions and embedding new processes across the business.
This is a fast-paced, high-profile role
that requires strong stakeholder engagement, governance, and compliance focus, along with the ability to deliver impactful and sustainable change outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute the change management strategy aligned with the transformation roadmap.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, workshops, communications, and training to drive adoption.
- Ensure readiness for change, track adoption, and support end-user experience.
- Monitor risks and issues, providing practical solutions to maintain program momentum.
- Partner with project, IT, communications, and business teams to embed new ways of working.
- Proven track record in leading enterprise-level change, ideally across procurement or commercial transformation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to work across complex, regulated environments.
- Expertise in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
- Agile, adaptable, and outcomes-focused, comfortable working at pace to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and training experience, with a collaborative and inclusive style.
