Security Architect

Are you a seasoned Security Architect with a passion for designing secure, scalable, and compliant enterprise solutions? Our client AGL is seeking a dynamic professional to lead and shape cybersecurity architecture across cloud, network, and application domains for a major transformation initiative. This is a contract job opportunity in Melbourne CBD for six months, in a hybrid working environment. 

Key Responsibilities

🔐 Security Architecture & Design
•    Develop enterprise-wide security architectures aligned with business goals and regulatory frameworks.
•    Define security standards and best practices for cloud-native applications and services.
•    Develop Security patterns
•    Design secure Salesforce implementations, integrations, and customizations.
•    Conduct architecture reviews for web, mobile, and API platforms.
•    Guide development teams on secure coding and threat modelling.

☁️ Cloud Security Leadership
•    Lead Azure cloud security initiatives including identity, network, and data protection.
•    Establish security controls for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps pipelines.
•    Implement container and serverless security (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).

🌐 Network Security & Infrastructure
•    Design secure network architectures including microsegmentation and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
•    Define security controls for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
•    Architect secure integration patterns across complex systems.
•    Ensure end-to-end security for digital transformation programs.

✨ Nice to Have
•    Experience architecting secure AI/ML pipelines with robust data protection controls.

What We’re Looking For
•    Proven experience in enterprise security architecture across cloud and SaaS platforms.
•    Strong understanding of Azure, Salesforce, DevSecOps, and modern security frameworks.
•    Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
•    Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or Azure Security Engineer are highly desirable.
