Scheduler - Execution| FIFO or Residential | Iron Ore | Dampier-Based

Join a high-performing team supporting a major iron ore operation as a Track Maintenance Scheduler. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role where you'll play a key part in planning and scheduling critical rail maintenance activities. With a strong focus on collaboration, problem-solving, and execution readiness, this role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and skilled team environment.

What’s on Offer:

  • FIFO 5:2, 4:3 roster or residential option (Dampier-based)
  • 12-hour days for FIFO, 9–10 hour days for residential
  • Ongoing contract with a leading mining client
  • Work with a team of 15 schedulers, each managing their own portfolio
  • Occasional travel to Tom Price may be required
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain 12-week rolling schedules for track maintenance execution
  • Coordinate parts, materials, and resources to ensure readiness
  • Handover schedules every Friday to the execution team
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues
  • Host and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders (5–50 attendees)
  • Work closely with 3 Track Specialists and report to the Superintendent
  • Maintain strong working relationships across departments
  • Operate autonomously in a high-pressure environment
Qualifications & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in planning and scheduling, ideally in rail and track
  • Strong understanding of rail maintenance, access, and obstruction management
  • High level of computer literacy; SAP experience is required
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
  • Must have full Australian working rights
