Opportunity available for a highly experienced and accredited RPEQ Electrical Engineer with specialised expertise in hazardous area environments for an exciting site based role. This is a key opportunity to drive major electrical projects within a safe and dynamic power generation environment.


Key Responsibilities:
• Lead electrical design efforts, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Develop detailed scopes of work (SOW) and provide accurate project estimates
• Support project phases from planning through execution, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions
• Drive safety compliance and support hazard assessments in hazardous areas


Ideal Candidate Profile:
• RPEQ registered with accredited experience in electrical engineering, focusing on hazardous environments
• Proven track record in power station or industrial electrical projects
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Extensive knowledge of safety standards (AS/NZS, IEC) applicable to hazardous areas
• Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder engagement and technical guidance
• Meticulous attention to detail with proactive problem-solving skills
