Our client is seeking  Roadworkers to support the construction and maintenance of vital road infrastructure across the Western Plains region. This role involves physically active, outdoor work using hand and power tools, assisting skilled tradespeople and machinery operators to keep our state highways safe and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine and repetitive physical tasks in road maintenance and construction
  • Maintaining established pavements and constructing new or enhanced pavements
  • Installing and maintaining roadside fixtures and signage
  • Applying road marking and bituminous sealing materials
  • Traffic control upon commencement
Requirements:
  • White Card, Traffic control and Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
  • Truck Licence advantageous
  • Ability to work physically outdoors as part of a team
  • Previous road maintenance/construction experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel across the region and work outside standard hours when needed
Working Conditions:
  • 9-day fortnight, 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • Potential travel within Dubbo, Gilgandra, Narromine, Warren, Parkes, and Walgett LGAs
  • May require living away from home for work assignments
