About the Role
Join a Dubbo-based team as a Roadworker, supporting vital civil and road construction projects across the region. This role is ideal for candidates with general labouring experience who want to build a career in roadworks and civil construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with civil and road construction tasks
- Operating safely around traffic and work zones
- Following site safety procedures and teamwork practices
Required:
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Traffic control licence (or willingness to obtain an Implement Traffic Control ticket within the first month (paid at Grade 1 until achieved, then Grade 3 thereafter)
- Truck licence
- Plant operation tickets
- Previous experience in civil or road construction
- Standard 76-hour, 9-day fortnight schedule
- Most Rostered Days Off (RDOs) are every second Monday (subject to change around holidays)
- Occasional Living Away from Home (LAFH), usually no more than two weeks at a time, for fatigue management (common travel south of Parkes or west of Trangie)
