Roadworker

About the Role
Join a Dubbo-based team as a Roadworker, supporting vital civil and road construction projects across the region. This role is ideal for candidates with general labouring experience who want to build a career in roadworks and civil construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with civil and road construction tasks
• Operating safely around traffic and work zones
• Following site safety procedures and teamwork practices

What We’re Looking For
Required:

• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Traffic control licence (or willingness to obtain an Implement Traffic Control ticket within the first month (paid at Grade 1 until achieved, then Grade 3 thereafter)

Preferred:

• Truck licence
• Plant operation tickets
• Previous experience in civil or road construction

Working Conditions

• Standard 76-hour, 9-day fortnight schedule
• Most Rostered Days Off (RDOs) are every second Monday (subject to change around holidays)
• Occasional Living Away from Home (LAFH), usually no more than two weeks at a time, for fatigue management (common travel south of Parkes or west of Trangie)
