Road Worker 

Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Road Worker to join their team in Yass for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to essential road maintenance operations in your local area.

Location:  Yass
Start Date:  ASAP
End Date:  19 December 2025
Hours:  8.5 hours/day, 76 hours/fortnight

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and repetitive physical tasks using hand and power tools
• Operate machinery individually or as part of a team under direction from the Team Leader
• Carry out routine maintenance activities including:
• Road pavement repairs
• Guard rail and signage maintenance
• Traffic control
• Pothole and shove repairs
• Guide post installation
• Rubbish collection
• Attending call-outs

Requirements:

• Must live within close proximity to Yass
• White Card
• WOF (Workers on foot)
• Current Class C Driver’s License or above
• Traffic Control (TC) ticket – essential due to call-out responsibilities
• Ability to pass a Police Check
