Road Construction/Maintenance Operator

Road Construction/Maintenance Operator - 2:1 FIFO from Perth (Days and nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a range of heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders/IT, skid steer loaders, rollers, watercarts, graders, 6/8 wheel tip trucks, and other plant machinery.
  
  
• Repair and maintain road surfaces by patching potholes, sealing cracks, and ensuring smooth and safe driving conditions.
  
  
• Assist with the construction of new roads, intersections, and associated civil infrastructure as required.
  
  
• Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure all equipment and machinery are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  
  
• Participate in daily pre-start meetings and adhere to all site safety policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  
  
• Accurately complete safety and operational documentation, including timesheets, pre-starts, Take 5s, JHAs, CRM entries, and hazard reports.
  
  
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
  
  
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

• Valid HC Driver’s Licence (WA) or higher
  
  
• Valid White Card
  
  
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug & Alcohol Screening
