About the Role:
We are seeking Reliability Engineers
to join a leading heavy industry operation in the Pinjarra region. This role combines hands-on reliability engineering with strategic leadership responsibilities, supporting fixed and mobile plant operations.

You will work alongside operations and maintenance teams to develop and implement reliability strategies that improve asset performance, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor reliability and maintenance strategies for fixed and mobile plant assets.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and advice to maintenance teams and operations leadership.
- Lead and coach reliability and mechanical engineering teams to achieve site reliability goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines to maintain governance for reliability excellence.
- Manage strategic workloads and support asset management and maintenance planning.
- Participate in shutdown planning and asset integrity reviews.
- Champion diversity and inclusion within the engineering and maintenance teams.
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in reliability engineering or plant engineering within heavy industry, refineries, mills, or similar environments.
- Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability principles including RCA, FMEA, and risk management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to coach and develop teams (for senior roles).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in diverse teams or commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Pinjarra, WA.
- Experience with SAP, CMMS, or similar maintenance management systems.
- Experience in strategic planning and continuous improvement methodologies.
