About the Role
Our client is delivering a Regional Housing Coordinator Pilot Program designed to support the effective management of subsidised accommodation across regional Queensland. As a Regional Housing Support Officer, you will provide essential business and administrative support to help ensure tenancy processes, documentation, and property‑related activities run efficiently and in line with policy.

This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative capability, and a property or housing background is highly desirable. Working locally in Rockhampton, you’ll play an important part in supporting service delivery that contributes to attraction and retention efforts in regional communities.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Prepare accurate tenancy and leasing documents, correspondence, and housing records to support program operations.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date data and reporting within the Employee Housing System (EHS) and other internal systems.
  • Assist with property management tasks including tenant entry/exit coordination, inspections, and general housing‑related communication.
  • Produce required documentation aligned with policy, legislation, and compliance expectations.
  • Respond to enquiries from internal staff, tenants, and stakeholders, escalating complex matters when needed.

What We Are Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
  • Strong business support or administrative experience, with the ability to manage documentation accurately.
  • A background or understanding of property, tenancy processes, or housing management (desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional customer‑focused approach.
  • The ability to work proactively under general direction, applying sound judgement in day‑to‑day tasks.
  • Strong organisation and coordination skills to manage scheduling, logistics, and workflow efficiently.
