Receptionist – Public Practice | Full-Time On-Site | Melbourne
We’re seeking an experienced and professional Receptionist to join a highly regarded public practice firm based in Melbourne. This is a full-time, on-site role suited to someone who thrives in a polished, fast-paced environment and understands the standards expected within professional services, particularly accounting or financial services.
You will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, so presentation, communication and reliability are essential. This is not just a front desk role; you will be across a variety of administrative tasks and operational support functions that keep the office running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing incoming calls, visitors and deliveries with professionalism and discretion
- Handling all incoming and outgoing mail and courier bookings
- Coordinating schedules, calendars and meetings
- Supporting the upkeep and presentation of shared office spaces, including kitchens and boardrooms
- Liaising with suppliers, building maintenance and service providers
- Assisting with data handling, document preparation and compliance-related admin including TFN reporting
- Performing ad hoc administrative duties to support the team and partners
- Previous experience in a reception or office support role within a public practice, accounting or financial services firm
- Strong organisational skills, initiative and a proactive mindset
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- A polished and professional demeanour with an understanding of the importance of representing the firm’s brand and values
- Australian Citizen
