Chandler Macleod presents an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join the Beresfield Baiada team based in their Steggles production plant.

The is a relief position with the duration of April 2026 - November 2026.
 
About the Role:

As the QA Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Oversee daily QA activities to ensure compliance with HACCP and regulatory standards
• Conduct routine audits, inspections, and monitoring of critical control points
• Investigate quality deviations and support corrective and preventive actions
• Supervise and support QA staff while training production teams in food safety and hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with internal and external audits
• Ensure product quality through in‑process checks, labelling verification, and specification control
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety, quality, and operational efficiency

About you:

• Strong leadership skills and 
• Ability to work in a team environment to resolve problems or improve systems
• Prior knowledge of WHS and environmental systems in the workplace
• Structured training in computer database and spreadsheet use
• Good meeting management skills
• Experience in dealing with quality and environmental complaints, with customers, regulators, workplace incidents and in conflict resolution
• Internal and External Auditing of food safety and quality systems (Highly Desirable)
• Background in poultry processing and/or cooking plant (Highly Desirable)
