Automotive Spray Painter – Heavy Vehicles
Location: Bayswater, VIC
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday + Overtime Available

We’re currently searching for a skilled Automotive Spray Painter to join our team in Bayswater, working on a wide range of heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers. This is a permanent, full-time role offering steady hours, regular overtime, and the chance to be part of a team that values quality workmanship, safety, and continuous improvement.

You’ll be responsible for prepping, masking, and spray-painting vehicle bodies to a high standard of finish. Working in a modern facility with state-of-the-art equipment, you’ll take pride in your work and contribute to the delivery of premium vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting (sanding, masking, priming).
  • Mix and apply paints to required colour specifications and finish.
  • Spray-paint trucks, trailers, and components using HVLP equipment.
  • Perform touch-ups and rework as required to meet quality standards.
  • Maintain painting tools, equipment, and spray booth cleanliness.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
  • Collaborate with production and finishing teams to meet daily targets.
  • Accurately record job details, paint usage, and completed tasks.

What We’re Looking For
  • Trade-qualified Automotive Spray Painter (Cert III or equivalent).
  • Previous experience spray-painting heavy vehicles, trucks, or trailers preferred.
  • Skilled in surface prep, colour matching, and achieving a high-quality finish.
  • Safety-conscious with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
