About the Client:

Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking for two (2) NDIS Provider Engagement Officer to join their busy team for a casual 12-months temporary assignment.


About the Role

As an NDIS Provider Engagement Officer, you will lead engagement and education activities to support providers to deliver positive outcomes for NDIS participants. In addition, your key duties are as follows:

  • Draft and/or provide input of content for internal and external publishing and distribution. (including website content, frequently asked questions, and supporting artefacts)
  • Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders including
    providers, carers, people with disability, mainstream organisations and other government agencies to address local provider challenges, including provider exits.
  • Engage providers to ensure optimal satisfaction is experienced at each interaction.
  • Supervise and develop staff at lower classification levels, assisting in building team capacity through leading, coaching and feedback.
  • Manage risks associated with stakeholder relationships through a proactive approach.
  • Drafting and/or provide input into ministerial and parliamentary
    correspondence, reports and briefs

 
About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Proven experience building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • Understanding of the NDIS provider market.
  • Ability to have difficult conversations with challenging stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills for sector and government audiences
  • Problem solving to proactively resolve issues and conflicts

  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Two (2) positions available:
    • Senior: $55.24 per hour + super
    • Team Leader: $60.26 per hour + super
  • Geelong, VIC location
