We are seeking an experienced Property Project Manager to deliver well-planned and coordinated property projects, including capital renewal, upgrades, new builds, staff relocations, and maintenance for a Local Council in Sydney. This is an initial contract until 30/06/2026 (with potential for extension) and a pay rate of $58.59 – $87.41 per hour + super (PAYG) or $65.62 – $97.90 per hour (ABN) for 35 hours per week. WFH arrangements TBC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and design projects: approvals, concept designs, feasibility, procurement, contract documentation, cost planning, stakeholder engagement.
  • Implement projects: contract administration, WHS compliance, program and budget management, quality assurance, grant reporting.
  • Manage risk: identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Provide advice, feasibility assessments, and contribute to long-term capital works planning.
Essential Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Asset Management, Building or related field
  • Previous experience of Property or Build Environment related projects
  • Proven experience delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Office Suite, and financial systems.
  • Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence.
Desirable:
  • Postgraduate qualifications and/or AIPM membership.
  • AutoCAD proficiency.
  • Knowledge of local government functions.
