We’re looking for a motivated Project/Site Engineer
to join a Tier 2 civil construction company delivering high-value infrastructure projects across regional and remote Australia.
With a strong track record in structural concrete works (bridges, stormwater, and energy projects including wind turbine foundations), this is a chance to step into a role where you’ll take ownership, grow your expertise, and work on projects that make a lasting impact.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in coordinating and delivering site-based engineering functions – ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
- FIFO/DIDO flexibility with a 2/1 roster
- LAFHA provided + accommodation
- Major 100m³ wind turbine foundation project
- Hands-on site-based PE role (not desk-based)
- Coordinate on-site engineering activities in line with specifications, timelines, and budget.
- Develop construction methodologies and detailed work plans.
- Maintain and report on 4-week look-ahead, delay notices, EOT claims, and construction programs.
- Provide accurate reporting on cost, time, and quality metrics.
- Drive value-engineered solutions and support procurement and subcontractor management.
- Ensure QA documentation, ITPs, and safety standards are met to the highest level.
- Lead site coordination meetings and provide engineering support to supervisors and crews.
- Identify project risks and manage variations and contractual claims.
- Structured onboarding and a tailored Project Management Training Program.
- Hands-on training in QA systems, ASTA PowerProject, and WHS procedures.
- Opportunities for career development planning, mentoring, and leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
- 3–6 years of civil infrastructure experience, ideally site-based.
- Strong background in structural concrete, bridges, or stormwater projects.
- Proactive, hands-on approach – comfortable working directly onsite.
- Competence in QA systems, WHS compliance, and construction documentation.
- Proficiency in ASTA PowerProject and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Projects delivered safely on time, and to specification.
- Strong stakeholder relationships and well-managed subcontractors.
- Risks identified early with practical solutions.
- QA and safety documentation maintained to audit-ready standards.
This is your chance to work with a respected civil contractor delivering critical infrastructure that makes a lasting impact on regional communities. You’ll join a supportive and system-driven team that values safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
