About the Role
A contract opportunity for a Project Support Officer to provide administrative and project support to road infrastructure projects within a technical and fast‑paced delivery environment.
The role supports project managers with documentation, coordination, reporting, procurement processes and compliance activities to ensure projects progress efficiently and accurately.
Based on the Gold Coast, this role contributes to the safe and effective operation of the transport network through high‑quality project support.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high‑level administrative and project support, including meeting coordination, minutes, documentation and reporting.
• Assist with financial approvals, procurement processes, contract administration and tender documentation.
• Maintain registers, spreadsheets and project records with accurate tracking and follow‑up to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, governance requirements and WH&S obligations.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to support effective project delivery.
To be considered, you must have:
• Experience supporting projects in infrastructure, engineering, construction or government.
• High proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with procurement, contract admin or tender processes.
• Strong documentation management and project coordination capability.
• Stakeholder coordination experience with technical or project teams.
• Current C‑Class licence and ability to meet government screening requirements.
