Project Supervisor

Are you a Senior Project Supervisor – a Fixed Plant Specialist- seeking your next temp contract?  We are sourcing a seasoned Project Supervisor | Fixed Plant for our Goldfields based client, in this newly created position to support recent fixed plant upgrades and ongoing capital works.

About the role
The Project Supervisor for one of our key mining producer clients, required immediately, on an 8:6 or 4:3 roster ex-Perth, on an initial 6 month temp contract, with a view to extension.

What Will You Be Doing?
As the Project Supervisor, your key accountabilities will include site leadership, management, and maintenance expertise to deliver the projects in a safe, timely and efficient manner:

• Lead small capital projects and major maintenance works across fixed plant assets.
• Coordinate planned project and maintenance work, within scheduled shutdowns for crushing, grinding, and CIP circuits.
• Oversee contractor engagement, logistics, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Develop work plans and schedules for the projects, yearly outlook, with detail plans per project.
• Projects managed within existing capital and maintenance budgets (circa $5M)
• Liaise with internal customers on project requirements, standards and management of change.

What We Need From You:

• Mechanical or Fabrication Trade Certificate or relevant Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Strong knowledge of mining regulations, statutory compliance, and maintenance best practices.
• Approx 10+ years of experience in mining maintenance with at least 5 years in a supervisory or planning orientated role.
• Proven experience leading shutdowns and small capital projects in a mining fixed plant environment
• Strong understanding of crushing, grinding, and CIP circuits
• Ability to manage contractors, logistics, and compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Project planning and scheduling experience
• SAP  (CMMS) | Microsoft Project | Microsoft Excel | INX or Damstra
