Project Quality Lead

Are you ready to be a part of New Zealand’s renewable energy future? Chandler Macleod is proud to partner with Beon Energy Solutions, a leading company specializing in the design, construction, and commissioning of large-scale renewable energy projects.

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a  Project Quality Lead working on a large scale solar farm project, based approximately 35km East of Taupo. This exciting opportunity is slated to commence in early March 2026.

About the Role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will ensure project quality activities are delivered in accordance with ISO accreditation, contractual requirements, and client expectations. This role is responsible for site inspections, audits, quality system implementation, and the close-out of any action items.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a compliant Quality Management System (QMS)
• Develop and deliver the Project Quality Management Plan
• Manage site quality assurance, inspections, audits, and defect rectification
• Ensure material traceability, document control, and compliance with client systems
• Undertake subcontractor assessments and stakeholder engagement
• Prepare quality documentation for project handover

About You

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Civil) or trade qualified
• Strong experience in quality control
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, detail-focused, and committed to continuous improvement
• Must hold a driver licence
