We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Planner / Scheduler to support the development and delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital and operational port infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Manager Asset, Development and Delivery, this critical role will play a key part in ensuring our clients projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.

Supporting a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, cost controllers and advisors this highly visible role will contribute to the development and delivery of various capex and opex infrastructure investments
 
Your Key responsibilities will Include:
 
Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop, maintain and update project schedules in collaboration with Project Managers.
  • Build and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and fully integrated project programmes.
  • Apply critical path and earned value techniques to support project delivery.
  • Align schedules with internal gateways and contract milestones.
  • Deliver high-level and detailed schedules suitable for both technical and executive audiences.
Programme & Project Controls
  • Use Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools to monitor, forecast and report project performance.
  • Conduct “what-if” analysis to evaluate the impacts of change and delays.
  • Generate monthly reports on schedule performance, progress tracking, and milestone status.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of schedule data and delivery strategies.
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings, providing timely updates and planning insights.
Risk & Change Management
  • Identify risks and deviations early, recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain detailed change logs and justifications for all schedule changes.
  • Integrate cost data for accurate forecasting of project cashflow.
Continuous Improvement
  • Support enhancements in scheduling processes and tools in line with industry best practices.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in project planning/scheduling within engineering or construction (marine/civil experience highly regarded).
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6; experience with MS Project, OnePager, and Planview is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, earned value management, and critical path analysis.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a complex project environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
