This is a great opportunity for a Project Officer and a Senior Project Officer to join this busy team on a 12-month assignment.
About the role:
- Assisting in project management and coordination activities, monitoring and reviewing program and project activities against plans.
- Contributing to the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency’s project management framework.
- Providing advice, procedural guidance and technical expertise in specific areas of project work.
- Performing research work and analysis including contributing to the preparation of reports on relevant project activities.
- Contributing to regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
- Drafting a range of written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation for review.
- Monitoring project budgets, review and report on expenditure and assist with procurement and contract management.
- Identifying and managing project risks, issues and benefits.
- Contributing to project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve project and business outcomes.
Skills required for this role:
- You will have strong understanding of agile project management methodology to plan, monitor and deliver work packages
- You will have ability to meet critical deadlines
- You will develop and maintain project artefacts
- You will demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision as an effective member of a team, using a high level of initiative to manage competing priorities
- You will demonstrated experience initiating, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- You will communicate complex information clearly and concisely through written briefs, reporting and presentations
- You will apply judgement to resolve issues and make evidence informed decision
- You will have ability and experience understanding and applying privacy and accessibility guidelines
- You will have advanced communication skills and ability to work well with stakeholders and manage expectations
- You will have well developed Microsoft 365 Skills (Microsoft Word, Power Point, Microsoft Planner)
Benefits:

- Full time hours Monday to Friday

- $55.24 to $60.26 hourly + Super
