Project Manager (Specialist) – Government Contract
Wacol | 7 April – 30 June (3-Month Assignment)
$107.51 per hour + Super

An experienced Project Manager (Specialist) is required to lead a comprehensive organisational structure review within a specialist operational unit. This short-term engagement will deliver strategic analysis, structural recommendations, and an implementation roadmap.

Key Deliverables:

  • Organisational Structure Review Report (with recommendations)
  • Revised organisational charts (if required)
  • Process maps for critical functions
  • Role mapping summary
  • Implementation plan
  • Executive presentation of findings and recommendations

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex data collection, research, analysis, and stakeholder consultation
  • Provide strategic direction to ensure priorities and deadlines are met
  • Identify risks and manage project constraints (time, cost, quality)
  • Prepare high-level briefs, submissions, and sensitive reports
  • Deliver clear outcomes aligned to agency goals and benefits realisation
  • Provide high-level advice to senior executives
  • Support organisational change initiatives aligned to project outcomes
  • Maintain confidentiality and information security standards

About You:
  • Proven experience conducting organisational structure reviews
  • Strong process and role mapping capability
  • Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret complex data and deliver practical recommendations
  • Experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
