Project Improvement Specialist – Project Services or  Construction Execution

Tier 1 Mining Company | Perth Based | 12-Month Contract (Possible Extension)

About the Role

As a Project Improvement Specialist, you will:
  • Support the ongoing improvement of the Project Management Framework (PMF), including processes, workflows, and documentation.
  • Assist in implementing lessons learned actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to governance development through policies, tools, and templates.
  • Provide project support to ensure efficient delivery of construction projects and strategic programs.
  • Facilitate change management, training, and coaching within project teams.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to foster collaboration and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance project practices aligned with strategic goals.
  • Evaluate and report on project performance, recommending improvements.
  • Support portfolio governance and reporting.
  • Employ business improvement methodologies to optimize project delivery.
About You
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience in project delivery and coordination within mining or large-scale construction.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to assess and report on project performance.
  • Familiarity with governance processes and tools.
