About the Company:

A Tier 1 mining company delivering long-term structural integrity projects across both processing and non-process infrastructure. With a project pipeline expected to continue for the next 10–15 years, this role offers stability, technical challenge, and career growth.

About the RoleThis site-based position supports the delivery of remediation works across critical infrastructure. You will work closely with contractors and project leads to ensure quality, safety, and timely execution of works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve contractor methodologies and work packs
  • Verify quantities of welding, painting, and fabrication for progress claims
  • Conduct daily inspections and generate shutdown reports
  • Approve shutdown schedules and liaise with operations teams
  • Prepare scoping documentation and bills of quantities
  • Monitor contractor deliverables and ensure quality compliance
  • Lead field-based safety activities including JHA reviews
  • Support project scheduling and attend shutdown meetings
  • Assist with risk assessments and HSE conformance
Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Fabrication, Coatings, or Structural/Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong communication skills across diverse teams
  • Site-based experience in mechanical/fabrication/paint supervision
  • Understanding of multidisciplinary requirements including structural, mechanical, electrical, and scaffolding
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
