About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer (Electrical)
to join our team at Kooragang Island. In this role, you will support project delivery under the guidance of an experienced project lead, managing as-built documentation, commissioning activities, and contributing to the successful completion of engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer to develop project management skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project execution and commissioning activities under the supervision of a senior project lead.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain as-built documentation for electrical systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
- Identify potential risks and contribute solutions to project challenges.
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical input and recommendations on electrical engineering aspects of projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5 years’ experience in electrical project engineering.
- Experience preparing as-built documentation and supporting commissioning activities.
- Strong understanding of project engineering processes and documentation.
- Experience in manufacturing or similar industries.
- Self-motivated, forward-thinking, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
