Food Production Workers – Laverton North
Join a leading poultry processing company in Laverton North!
We’re looking for reliable and motivated Food Production Workers to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. These roles offer ongoing, consistent hours, great team culture, and long-term opportunities for dependable candidates.

About the Role

  • Work in a cold environment(some areas as low as 2°C)
  • Training provided across multiple areas of the factory floor to help you build a strong, versatile skill set
  • Ongoing employment and progression opportunities available for the right people
  • Tasks include:
    • Packing, sorting, and labelling poultry products
    • Conducting quality checks and following strict food safety and hygiene standards
    • Completing manual handling and maintaining clean work areas
    • Working efficiently to meet daily production targets in a team-based environment
Shifts & Hours
  • AM Shift: Start times between 4:00am and 7:00am
  • PM Shift: Start times between 2:00pm and 3:30pm
  • You will be allocated to one shift(either AM or PM) based on site requirements
  • Flexibility is essential, as start times may vary within the shift window
  • 30+ hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Weekend work available as required
  • Pay: In accordance with the Food & Beverage Award
Requirements
  • Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse work is required
  • Experience working in cold environments is preferred
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 15kgs repeatedly when required
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
  • Comfortable handling poultry and chicken products
  • Own reliable transport
  • Full working rights in Australia
