Production Scheduler - Mining Engineer - 8/6 FIFO Perth

• Schedule daily mine production tasks & activities and communicate to key stakeholders

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mining Engineer to join our clients team at their Pilbara mine site. You will be tasked with creation of daily schedule (PLOD) that aligns to the two weekly schedule. Delivery of the daily schedule to a wide ranging audience. Creation updating of dig maps and machine guidance files. Daily pit inspections of active mining locations to determine mining ability, plan assumptions and conformance to plan. Analyse and confirm grade and volume of targets aligned with customer requirements. Management and escalation of PLOD and grade non conformances. Ability to utilise business critical applications to make decisions and escalate to leaders. Daily data entry and confirmations.

About you 

To be considered for this role you will have a relevant degree in mining engineering and 3 years of relevant operational mining experience. You will possess strong and analytical and problem solving skills and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
