Procurement Manager

We are partnering with a well-established and respected food manufacturer based in Brisbane. Known for their commitment to quality, operational excellence, and long-standing supplier relationships, this organisation is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead site-based procurement operations.

This role is pivotal in managing the daily supply of materials to a fast-paced production environment, while leading a small team and contributing to broader procurement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supply planning and coordination across multiple customer streams
• Manage relationships with long-term vendors and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Lead and manage the procurement staff
• Support operational procurement activities including stock flow and carton deliveries
• Collaborate with the Group Procurement Manager on strategic procurement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in procurement within the food or FMCG industry
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a busy, high-volume environment
• Excellent planning, organisation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with multiple daily deliveries
• ERP system experience (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle Cloud) is advantageous
