Procurement Manager

Ready to Lead Procurement Excellence in Port Macquarie? We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our client’s team and drive strategic sourcing, contract management, and operational efficiency.

About the Role:

You’ll balance strategic vision with operational excellence, managing procurement risks, fostering supplier relationships, and ensuring commercial outcomes align with broader strategic objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll coach a high-performing team, implement best practices, and deliver sustainable results for the Port Macquarie-Hastings community.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree level qualifications relevant to the role or equivalent combination of qualifications and
  experience.
• Extensive experience in government procurement, tendering and contract management.
• Demonstrated experience providing strategic procurement advice to a broad range of
  stakeholders.
•  Extensive experience in a leadership role with strong people management skills, including
  managing performance, mentoring and coaching.
• A demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional service and outcomes for stakeholders.
• A forward-thinking approach with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
•  Excellent communication, interpersonal and contract management skills with a proven ability to
  negotiate and resolve conflicts to achieve required outcomes

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Salary: $129,671 – $145,142 + Super (based on experience)
• Vehicle allowance included ($10,000)
• Performance-based increases after 12 months
• Full-time, permanent (35 hours/week)
