Are you a Procurement and Contracts Specialist  with at least three to five years experience in the Mining and Resources or Heavy Industry, who is seeking a six month contract to #unleashtheirpotential with a reputable industry leader?

About the role
We are partnering with a WA renowned organisation, one of Australia’s leading mineral providers of bauxite, to secure the services of an experienced Procurement and Contracts Specialist  to support their Commercial Team based at their Pinjarra site for a period between September to the end of January 2026 . This is on a Monday – Friday (38 hour week) Roster, ideally working from Pinjarra but for the right person, there is flexibility to either work from home or from their head office in Perth CBD a couple of days a week.

The role will be responsible for leading and supporting a broad range of procurement and joint procurement/business activities at the Pinjarra site, designed to tap the client's full potential in spend reduction, material and service productivity, working capital improvement, contract management and supply chain effectiveness.

About you

  • Bachelors degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management or Finance
  • 3-5 years Procurement/Commercial experience Essential
  • Demonstrated experience developing procurement strategies and negotiating contract terms and conditions
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and influencing skills
  • Exceptional time management skills, capacity to multi-task
  • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve complex issues
  • Sound business knowledge in a manufacturing environment, as well as an understanding of commercial and business issues in customer and supplier relationships
  • Based within easy commuting distance to Pinjarra, Western Australia
  • Full Australian Working Rights
