Are you a reliable and experienced individual looking to join a dynamic team in the far northern Adelaide area? We’re seeking Pellet Mill Operators
for an ongoing role with our client in feed manufacturing located in Wasleys.
About the Role
As a Pellet Mill Operator, you will coordinate and supervise the operation of the pelleting mill, hammermill, and grinding processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing outloading to ensure correct feeds/orders are dispatched.
- Monitoring production to meet client standards.
- Conducting QA testing, including pellet size checks.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting.
- Participating in hygiene and maintenance activities.
- Ensuring plant and equipment meet safety and operational standards.
- Reporting workplace issues and contributing to continuous improvement.
What We Seek
- Working Rights: Must have valid working rights in Australia.
- Location: Ideally suited to candidates living in or around Wasleys.
- Availability: Full-time availability for rotating shifts starting at 7am or 7pm, including weekends and overtime.
- Licensing: Current driver’s license and forklift license required.
- Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing preferred; BI boiler license a plus.
- Technical Skills: Sound computing skills and familiarity with operational systems.
- Safety Focus: Strong understanding of OH&S, environmental policies, and safe work practices.
- Positive Attitude: Energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.
- Comprehensive Training: Full training provided, including PPE and safety protocols.
- Modern Facility: Work in a well-equipped site with high operational standards.
- Convenience: Free on-site parking available.
