Payroll Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager
to lead their payroll function and ensure smooth, compliant processing of payroll for their organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on payroll leader to join a supportive and collaborative team.
About the Role:
Collaborating with the leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. You will lead a team of payroll professionals and work closely with HR, Finance, and the wider management team to deliver payroll services aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full payroll cycle for the organisation, ensuring compliance with legislation and awards
- Lead and develop the payroll team, driving accountability and continuous improvement
- Manage payroll process improvements and system upgrades as needed
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and management to resolve payroll-related issues and support reporting needs
- Provide regular payroll reporting and insights to the management team
- Ensure payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits are completed accurately and on time
- Proven experience managing payroll in a medium to large organisation
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
