Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead their payroll function and ensure smooth, compliant processing of payroll for their organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on payroll leader to join a supportive and collaborative team.

About the Role:
Collaborating with the leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. You will lead a team of payroll professionals and work closely with HR, Finance, and the wider management team to deliver payroll services aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full payroll cycle for the organisation, ensuring compliance with legislation and awards
• Lead and develop the payroll team, driving accountability and continuous improvement
• Manage payroll process improvements and system upgrades as needed
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and management to resolve payroll-related issues and support reporting needs
• Provide regular payroll reporting and insights to the management team
• Ensure payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits are completed accurately and on time

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience managing payroll in a medium to large organisation
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
