Join a leading global technology company as a Partner Advisor (Sales Strategy Manager)
based in Sydney. This exciting 12-month contract role, with potential for conversion to a permanent position, offers a hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days work-from-home after an interim period). You will support key consulting and Tableau resell partners in the ANZ region, driving their success within the Salesforce ecosystem. This role is ideal for early-career professionals (1-2 years’ experience) with a passion for sales strategy, partner management, and data-driven decision-making.
About the Role As a Partner Advisor, you will work closely with consulting and Tableau resell partners, acting as a key point of contact to drive engagement and growth. Two roles focus on supporting major partners under a Partner Account Director, handling day-to-day tasks such as reporting, analysis, and dashboards, while also attending meetings, managing follow-ups, and supporting events. The third role is dedicated to new and emerging partners, guiding them to scale within the Salesforce ecosystem. This is a fast-paced, externally facing role requiring strong business acumen, communication skills, and the ability to interpret sales data.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners, guiding them to leverage self-service resources and navigate the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Support major partners with reporting, pipeline forecasting, and dashboards, while attending meetings and managing communications and follow-ups.
- For new and emerging partners, validate business plans, recommend best practices, and define actions to grow their Salesforce practice.
- Conduct quarterly health checks to assess partner progress against goals and set new objectives.
- Organize and support marketing events and partner activities to drive engagement.
- Achieve quarterly KPIs focused on partner success and engagement.
- Collaborate with Partner Account Directors (for major partners) or Partner Sales Managers (for emerging partners) to align on strategic goals.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, strategy, consulting, or partner management, ideally with exposure to Salesforce or CRM platforms.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and partners effectively.
- Experience interpreting sales data, pipeline forecasting, or creating reports (Tableau experience a plus but not mandatory).
- Ability to manage high-volume partner interactions and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with cross-functional teams and reporting to multiple stakeholders (direct reporting to hiring manager, dotted line to Partner Account Directors or Partner Sales Managers).
- Background from consulting firms (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture) or competitors in the Salesforce ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Understanding of vendor-partner dynamics or partnership management is a plus.
- Work with a global leader in technology, supporting high-profile partners in the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Join a collaborative Sydney-based team of six, with planned in-office days for team synergy and access to a vibrant office environment.
- Enjoy a hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days work-from-home after interim period).
- Opportunity for conversion to a permanent role after 12 months, based on performance and business needs.
- Be part of a cohort starting in early November, alongside solution engineers and sales strategy teams.
