Participation Assistant / Disability Educational Support

Bendigo | Casual, Onsite | $33 per hour + super

A regional TAFE in Bendigo is seeking a Participation Assistant / Disability Educational Support Officer to provide hands-on learning support to students within a higher education setting.
This is a rewarding, student-focused role supporting accessibility, participation, and positive educational outcomes for students with disability.

About the role: 

• Assisting students with coursework and learning activities
• Providing in-class and practical support, including note taking
• Supporting student advocacy and participation
• Offering feedback and encouragement to promote confidence and independence
• Working collaboratively with educators and support services

About you: 

• A background in education, tutoring, learning support or disability support
• Exposure to behavioural support and/or disability settings
• A valid employee Victorian Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience working across a range of disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and boundaries
