About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a motivated Onsite Account Manager to join a significant solar farm project located approximately 200km southwest of Mackay. This role is offered on a part-time basis, with an exciting opportunity to transition to full-time employment from January 2026, continuing through to the completion of the project.
You’ll be onsite, acting as the main point of contact between the client and the workforce, ensuring daily operations run smoothly in a busy, fast-paced environment. You’ll work on a rotating roster, while staying in a fully maintained camp during your shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client to understand their staffing and operational needs Source, onboard, and support workers, making sure roles are filled with skilled candidates in a timely manner
- Manage workforce schedules, monitor attendance, and troubleshoot any daily issues
- Ensure all team members follow health, safety, and site compliance requirements
- Keep the client and internal teams updated with regular reports on staffing progress, attendance, and safety metrics
- Address staff performance or safety issues proactively and find solutions quickly
- Support safety procedures, including pre-start meetings and PPE compliance
- Assist with incident investigations and injury management processes
- Experience in, workforce management or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge or background in renewable energy, construction, or similar sectors is a bonus
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Proven ability to build rapport with clients and workers alike
- Understanding of employment law, safety standards, and compliance requirements
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Valid driver’s licence is a must
