We are seeking multiple applications from local Weipa residents for entry-level Mine Operators positions. 

You will work as part of our Mine Development or Production team with full on-the-job training to be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity for people with a strong work ethic, commitment to learning and a ‘can do’ attitude.

Positions are available at the Northern Andoom Operations, working either a rotating  4/5/5 day/night or 7/7 day/night shift roster, giving you more time for the things that are important to you outside of work.

You’ll be part of an inclusive team, supported by your Supervisor to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team.

Successful Candidates will enter a job ready pool of Operators, ready to be placed into vacancies either at Andoom or Amrun.

What you’ll bring   

• Open to Weipa residents only with existing accommodation
• A ‘C’ class driver’s license (automatic and manual)
• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Ability to pass a fit for work/pre-employment medical test
