🔧 Mechanical Maintainer – Utilities Maintenance (Water Treatment Focus)
📍 Location: Tom Price, WA | 🛫 Roster: 8/6 FIFO from Perth

Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter or Plumber with a passion for maintaining critical infrastructure? Do you thrive in a dynamic FIFO environment and have expertise in water treatment systems like reverse osmosis? If so, we want to hear from you!

Join our client's Utilities Maintenance team in Tom Price and play a vital role in supporting both town and mine operations through the safe and reliable maintenance of essential water and utility systems.

💼 About the Role Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of a range of assets, including:

  • Reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment plants and equipment

  • Potable water treatment systems and monitoring infrastructure

  • Wastewater systems supporting both town and mine

  • Diesel fuel, lubricant, and hydrocarbon wastewater treatment infrastructure

  • Compressed air systems

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing
  • Performing routine maintenance inspections and scheduled servicing

  • Diagnosing faults and providing performance feedback

  • Responding to breakdowns and ensuring timely, safe repairs

  • Contributing to continuous improvement in safety, performance, and reliability

What We’re Looking For Mandatory:
  • Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or Plumber

  • Solid experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, particularly water treatment

  • Proven work with RO systems and potable water infrastructure

  • Valid WA C Class Driver’s Licence

  • A strong customer focus and a collaborative approach

  • Perth, Western Australia based with Full Australian Working Rights
Desirable:
  • Experience in hydrocarbon operations and infrastructure

  • WA HR Driver’s Licence

  • High Risk Work Licences (LF, CV, DG, RG)

  • Familiarity with RTIO safety systems and procedures

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
