Chandler Macleod are searching for a Maintenance Planner to join the team onsite in the Bowen Basin!

As the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating work plans for Field equipment in alignment with 1SAP work management processes and program requirements.
You will play a key role in delivering detailed rolling 12-week plans, with a focus on minimising impacts to the mine plan while meeting project schedules. This role is ideal for someone who values simplification, is systems- and process-oriented, and wants to exercise people management skills in a peer-led team environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Create notifications and work orders for approved scopes of work.
• Deliver a high volume of sequenced, effective, and accurate work packages to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Plan to a high standard, aligned with the rolling major events calendar.
• Liaise with Integrated Operations work/asset management planners to prioritise project equipment.
• Leverage an integrated team to develop standardised planning processes for the program.
• Create required parts demands and coordinate with the inventory planner and vendors.
• Identify opportunities for standardisation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop SAP master data to embed standard work packages into task lists.
• Build detailed, machine-specific major outage Gantt charts at the task level.
• Schedule third-party vendor tasks to align with maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with Mine Planning to coordinate equipment movement in/out of tactical mine plans.
• Lead planning review meetings and implement learnings from each session.
• Report critical path items to the Superintendent and Supervisor to support prioritisation and mitigation.

• Strong systems orientation with the ability to manage high volumes of work accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Detail-oriented and task-focused with strong analytical skills.
• Adaptable in a dynamic and continuously evolving environment.
• Process-driven with a passion for identifying improvements and efficiencies.
• Knowledge of planning and scheduling processes and/or logistics coordination.
• Awareness of cost management and forecasting processes.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
