Maintenance Manager

Chandler Macleod is seeking a skilled  Maintenance Manager to join the Baiada Beresfield team. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with competitive remuneration, career development, and the chance to lead a high-performing maintenance team in a versatile environment.

About the role
As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all maintenance operations at Baiada’s Beresfield fresh plant site, ensuring safety, compliance, and adherence to company standards. This role includes managing budgets, planning and implementing preventative and emergency maintenance, and overseeing the installation and upkeep of plant equipment and infrastructure. You will lead and develop the maintenance team, drive operational excellence, and ensure continuous improvement across processing operations while meeting cost, quality, and safety requirements.

About you
As the Maintenance Manager, you will bring: 

• Strong leadership skills, including conflict resolution and problem solving
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager, or in a similar capacity 
• Trade qualifications in a related discipline
• Knowledge of food processing industry 
• Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal 
• Knowledge of quality systems, HACCP procedures and understanding of how maintenance work could impact the environment. 
• Valid permanent working rights in Australia
