Maintenance Fitter - Poultry Processing Factory

Chandler Macleod has been tasked by one of Australia’s leading poultry producers to source a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join their Maintenance team at the company’s processing facility.

About the Opportunity
Your primary responsibility will be to carry out mechanical installation, maintenance, and repairs on all machinery throughout the Poultry Processing Factory.

This role operates on a fortnightly rotating roster, covering morning, afternoon, and night shifts. Relevant shift allowances are provided.

Key Requirements

• Full Australian work rights
• Australian-recognised relevant trade qualification
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance of a variety of fixed plant machinery
• Knowledge and experience in refrigeration maintenance (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience with meat processing machinery (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate maintenance records
