Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced professional to join our team and support site operations through high-quality maintenance services.
As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of site operations. You’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to keep equipment running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to unplanned maintenance requests and execute scheduled maintenance tasks
- Perform maintenance activities in line with engineering standards and budget constraints
- Participate in weekly planning meetings to improve maintenance processes
- Liaise with suppliers to source parts and recommend cost-effective solutions
- Supervise contractors when required and ensure tasks are completed to standard
- Assist with audits, inspections, and undertake required training
Essential Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and multicultural environment
- Self-motivated with a proactive, solution-focused attitude
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Customer service orientation
- Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter
- Pneumatics and Hydraulics experience (certification desirable)
- Experience with industrial conveyor and bagging equipment (desirable)
- Familiarity with safety and quality control practices
- Basic computer literacy; SAP experience desirable
- Current driver’s license
- HRWL Forklift license
- HRWL Boom Type EWP, LVR/CPR, and First Aid certificates (desirable)
