LV Mechanic

Position: LV Mechanic
Location: Canning Vale, WA
Remuneration: $45.00 - $55.00 p/h

LV Mechanic required for a specialist workshop focussing on American vehicles including Ford F-Series (F250/F350), RAM, Chevrolet and GMC platforms.

Duties

• Minor and major services
• Minor and major mechanical repairs
• Auto-electrical diagnosis and repairs
• Extensive diagnostics and fault-finding using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tooling
• Complex drivability, electrical, and engine management issues specific to American vehicles

Requirements

• Whilst the role is LV-based, must be comfortable working on larger vehicles
• Capable of methodical diagnostic work rather than routine parts-fitting
• LV Mechanic Trade qualification
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Solid electrical knowledge (CAN systems, sensors, modules, wiring repairs)
• Experience with American vehicles highly regarded but not essential    
• A professional approach to workmanship, documentation, and customer outcomes
