Exciting Opportunity: Logistics Officer – Specializing in Export Operations
Join our dynamic team and become a key player in the safe, efficient, and compliant export and distribution of chemical products, including AGR Sodium Cyanide. As a Logistics Officer with a focus on export operations, you will coordinate complex shipping processes, manage compliance documentation, and ensure timely delivery to international markets. Your expertise will directly contribute to our company’s reputation for safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction in global supply chains.
What You’ll Bring:
- Extensive experience in chemical export logistics, including scheduling, import/export processes, and international shipping management.
- Strong knowledge of hazardous materials regulations, Dangerous Goods shipping documentation, and compliance standards for international transportation.
- Proven ability to coordinate with freight forwarders, customs, inspection agencies, and other external stakeholders involved in export shipping.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle complex logistics schedules and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in data entry and reporting systems.
- Ability to resolve shipping issues, manage conflicts, and operate calmly under pressure.
- Dangerous Goods certification or extensive Dangerous Goods shipping experience.
- Experience with KPI management, process improvements, and business efficiency initiatives in logistics.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in chemical export logistics or international distribution, with a proven track record of managing complex shipments.
- Willingness to provide a 24-hour on-call service for emergency export issues.
- Strong safety focus and adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
