The client
is seeking an experienced and professional individual to join their Logistics Team
as a Logistics Administration / Allocations / Relief Officer
based at their Teralba Quarry.
Reporting to the Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Logistics and Compliance
functions across the client’s quarry operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and effective communication between the Quarry Team, Risk Management, Customer Service Centre, Concrete Plant Operations, and the Sales Team.
Safety and compliance are central to the client’s operations, and the successful candidate will uphold the company’s high standards in these areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit drivers’ run sheets and logbooks in Netcorp
to meet compliance requirements.
- Identify and report any breaches for review and action in line with Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
and NHVR
regulations.
- Debrief driver run sheets daily to ensure any operational or compliance issues are raised and resolved.
- Maintain accurate records for BFM, Mass, and Maintenance accreditations.
- Ensure Vehicle Condition Reports
are current and complete.
- Support a safe work system
and contribute to continuous safety improvement.
- Monitor equipment utilisation
and prepare regular performance reports.
- Provide relief coverage
for weighbridge operations as required.
- Schedule and allocate local and intrastate transport work.
- Provide coverage and support to the Lead Allocator.
- Manage cartage rate administration
and updates.
- Assist with project work, sales administration, and end-of-month reporting.
- Maintain Rapid compliance inductions
and ensure contractor compliance requirements are met.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience
in a similar logistics or administrative role.
- Experience in Chain of Responsibility
and compliance record keeping.
- Professional, motivated, and highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication
and time management
skills.
- Ability to edit and proofread documentation accurately.
- Intermediate computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of weighbridge operations
and local allocations
will be highly regarded.
