About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our client's team. This active opportunity involves performing maintenance, repairs, and servicing on a variety of light vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for vehicle registration checks, contributing to the overall safety standards upheld by our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on light vehicles, including diagnostics, brake repairs, engine servicing, and replacement of worn parts.
- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and registration checks, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Accurately diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed service records and report on vehicle conditions and work performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid trade certification or relevant qualifications.
