About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and experienced Instructional Designer to develop engaging, high-quality learning content using a variety of tools and delivery platforms. This role plays a key part in delivering blended learning experiences that meet client-specific goals, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling, interactive, and high-quality course content tailored to client needs.
- Consult with clients to understand desired learning outcomes, delivery methods, content types, and compliance requirements.
- Design detailed content using Learning and Assessment Strategies (LAS), storyboards, and other instructional design tools.
- Create a wide range of supporting materials such as videos, simulations, audio, quick reference guides, role plays, games, and work instructions.
- Develop assessments that accurately measure both knowledge and skills.
- Ensure all training materials align with applicable compliance standards (e.g., VET Standards, RTO regulations).
- Proven experience as an instructional designer or in a learning development role.
- Strong understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015 and compliance frameworks.
- Skilled in using various learning design tools and technologies.
- Experience conducting task analyses and training needs assessments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent), or relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating effective learning programs and materials.
