Learning Design Specialist
Customer Experience | Operational Excellence

Location: Hybrid – Melbourne
Contract: 2 weeks (14 days) with potential extension
Start Date:  Must commence by 5 November 2025
Rate: Market aligned (daily or hourly)
 
Deliver high-quality learning solutions that enable frontline capability uplift and enhance customer experience outcomes. Design, develop and maintain impactful training programs, aligning with strategic priorities and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Design structured learning journeys aligned to capability goals and performance outcomes
  • • Develop engaging instructional content including guides, assessments and visual aids
  • Analyse learning needs and translate insights into tailored program design
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to validate content and delivery
  • Apply human-centred design and adult learning principles to maximise knowledge retention
  • Integrate learning technologies and digital tools to enable modern delivery methods
  • Evaluate effectiveness of programs using data and performance insights
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uplift operational performance
  • Support training delivery where required to ensure successful implementation
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends in capability and learning innovation
  • Champion customer-first thinking and organisational values

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum 4 years in instructional design or capability development roles
  • Experience designing learning in contact centre or customer operations environments
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or relevant equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models
  • Proven ability to deliver both digital and face-to-face learning solutions
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms and learning technology tools
  • Strong project management, planning and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data and convert insights into capability outcomes
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, regulated environments and manage changing priorities
  • Advanced computer skills with the ability to manage multiple systems
