Labourers

Chandler Macleod are currently seeking flexible and reliable Labourers to work across multiple sites, including aluminium manufacturing facilities and distribution centres. The successful candidates will be assigned to the multiple sections where they will assist with inspection, repair, reprocessing, and repackaging of aluminium products that require modification or correction prior to dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to assigned work sites as directed (within designated region).
• Inspect and assess aluminium products for quality, defects, or damage.
• Rework products by removing protective film, re-cutting, cleaning, or modifying as required.
• Repackage products to meet customer or internal specifications.
• Accurately label and prepare items for shipment or re-entry into production.
• Assist with general labouring duties including manual handling, stacking, sorting, and housekeeping.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow is maintained.

• Ability and willingness to travel between different job sites.
• Previous experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or reworks preferred.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items (up to [insert weight, e.g. 25kg]).
• High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Reliable transport (preferred) and flexible with shift times or start locations.
• Adherence to workplace health and safety policies.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Forklift licence (advantageous, not essential)
