About the Role
Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand  to join their team. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all kitchen and service areas.

You will work closely with internal teams including volunteers, kitchen staff, and general staff, as well as external stakeholders such as suppliers and volunteer groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen and service equipment
• Support kitchen staff and volunteers during operations
• Handle food safely across preparation, storage, and service areas
• Assist with stock rotation and stock control
• Safely handle, store, and stack all kitchen and F&B equipment
• Report any equipment faults or maintenance needs
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times

• Ability to complete manual, hands‑on tasks
• Dependable, accountable, and team‑focused
• Competent working in a kitchen environment
• Experience with food handling safety and documentation
• Flexible, adaptable, and highly responsive

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Chemical handling experience
• Experience in stock receiving and stock control
• Hands-on food preparation experience
