This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager to join a critical government project. You will lead all aspects of ILS, from early system design through to ongoing support and delivery, working with a talented team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing logistic strategies and plans aligned with project objectives
- Leading and coordinating ILS teams to support successful delivery of the program
- Creating integrated logistics concepts and securing stakeholder approval
- Defining support system requirements alongside capability sponsors and stakeholders
- Reviewing contractor plans to ensure alignment with logistics concepts
- Facilitating workshops and reviews to resolve issues during project development
- Ensuring supply, maintenance, and training support products meet standards
- Collaborating with engineering and configuration management teams to ensure correct representation of support needs
- Supporting project governance through active participation in forums and working groups
- Providing expert advice on ILS risks, issues, and technical reviews
The ideal candidate will bring a tailored mix of skills, experience, and a proactive mindset, including:
- Proven experience in logistics management within defence, maritime, or asset sustainment environments
- Strong understanding of Integrated Logistics Support, Logistic Support Analysis, and Test & Evaluation processes
- Maritime or naval program experience highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and work collaboratively across stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Relevant training or engineering background preferred but not essential with applicable practitioner experience
- A current NV1 security clearance (or equivalent) is required
